Deaf and hard of hearing children seldom have the opportunity to participate in outdoor programs.  Campers and their families will participate in a variety of outdoor skills programs.  Workshops this year include traditional archery with a walk-through silhouette shoot, canoeing, fishing and rock wall climbing.

The camp is funded in part through donations from organizations such as Missouri Conservation Agents Association, United Bowhunters of Missouri and Compton Traditional Bowhunters.  These donations help to defray the cost of the programs, meals and other supplies needed to make the camp successful.
